Brand Information
The Step2 company is the largest American manufacturer of preschool and toddler toys. The company was founded by Thomas G. Murdough, Jr. He was also the founder of Little Tikes. Mr Murdough pioneered the use of rotational holding in consumer process. In 1991 the Step2 company began its operations with just 5 employees and since then has grown to over 800 members of staff. Tom Murdough retired from the company in 2007. Step2 manufactures most of its products in its two large US plants in Ohio. Their toys are available in over 70 countries worldwide.
